Glorietta 2 Explosion

On 19 October 2007, 11 died and over a hundred more wounded in an explosion at an upscale Glorietta 2 mall in Ayala Center, right in the heart of the country's financial district of Makati City south of Manila, Philippines. Initial reports atribute the blast from a terrorist attack. Later on they blamed it on a poorly ventilated basement and methane gas sipping through the sewerage pipeline.
